Changing things up a bit.

Ok for starters I was going heavy on the cardio and light on the weights just to maintain some muscle. Eating clean as directed with the occasional cheat (4 or 5 beers…and I mean beer not that lite crap! :D ) day. Anyhow….

I’ve finally got the wife on board and she is going to start working out with me and following the same program, which happens to be wave_length’s guide. I’m super stoked she’s jumping in with me finally and I don’t feel like I’m going in circles with motivation.

There are soooo many different ways to go about fitness it’s mind boggling. Eat this…not that.. lift this…on these days.. do these exercises…take these supps…etc. Gives me a migrane thinking about all the time I spent browsing and trying things to see if it would work for me since it worked for someone else.

SO… I’m sticking with the basics like wave says.

1g protein/pound lbm, reducing cals by 500 - 900, and lifting 3 days a week (with 2 days of HIIT). The only other difference is that I’m taking a few extra BCAA’s and Lipo 6.

Lets see how well this goes… I’m going to try to post some food logs and exercise logs when I can too….just to help motivation.
