Now that I’m back from school, the plan is to just shoot to get bigger and bigger as usual. I plan on taking two shakes daily of muscle milk (morning and before bed), with a postworkout shake of whey. Hopefully this can help me add more size because I have always been lean, but I need to be able to put at least a little muscle on my frame.

Today was awesome. It started out kind of shitty when I was doing Incline DB Press, and was having trouble with 55’s. I just kept going up in weight though and the more I went up the better I felt. I finished off with 70’s? for my last set at about 8 reps. I did incline flies and then did DB bench. My last set I finished with 85’s for around 6. I have not done that much in a while so it was good to get back there. I did decline also for the first time in a while and did 85’s for 6. I finished off with a few different pushup variations I know and called it a day. All in all it is good to be hoisting the heavy weight again, but I still have more work to do.

I felt as of late, that my motivation was kind of draining. It was hard to actually leave the gym and feel like I had a good workout. My workout numbers are ok, but I cannot be satisfied with just ok. I have come a loooong way since I first started lifting (2years this June). Today though I did back and felt great. I started with weighted pull ups, wide, normal grip, neutral and close grip. Barbell rows, deadlifts, dumbbell row, and inverted rows with some lower back extensions. My deadlift isnt as good as it once was, but it will get back up. If I can continue with this for the rest of the week, it will be a successful week.
