E-Bol and Jungle Warfare Review

Friday, February 2nd, 2007

You’ll have to read my first blog to get some context for my review.  I’m not a very good responder to most things!

With that said, i ran E-Bol from mid december to mid january.  The first week or so overlapped with Novedex XT (which i got nothing from), and the rest was mostly by itself.  Towards the end it overlapped with Jungle Warfare, but this was before JW had kicked in (first two weeks).

Honestly i got nothing from E-Bol.  No feeling of "well-being."  I dont know what this often mentioned well-being is.  Honestly i think someone said that and now everybody says that when they take E-Bol even if nothing is happening.  At first i thought i was having vivid dreams.  But i’m still having vivid dreams right now (no E-Bol for weeks).  I forgot how strong the placebo effect is.  It had no impact on my dreams, and definitely no "pump."  I didn’t get any more pump, and no muscle fullness.  I get muscle fullness from eating a shitload of carbs, not red pills.  Strength gains were happening oh yes, but i always get strength gains.  My workout log is proof.  Strength gains were very slow on E-Bol.
2/10 rating from me.  Maybe i’m not a responder, but that doesn’t mean i’m going to be nice and guess what rating E-Bol should deserve.  It didn’t do crap for me and thus gets a crappy score.  Not buying again.
Personally, i hope YOU respond to E-Bol.  I hope you love it.  Damn you responders.

Jungle Warfare
Ran this at 3 caps a day from January 1 to January 25th.  I got it off because i got super sick and got massive headaches.  Between being so sick and those headaches, i was so miserable.  That’s already 2 points off JW - the headaches BLOW (and no, food does not help them), and i got so sick right when JW was hitting me hard.  I don’t think its coincidence, i think a lot of these supps mess up the immune system.  About 3 days after i stopped taking Jungle Warfare is when the effects of JW were leaving me (RE:  strength down), and curiously this is also when i started getting better.
This is similar to what happened to me on Halodrol liquigels, only i kept taking those and was sick for 3 weeks (an unheard of duration for me).

Now the good news.  I respond to JW.  I was wrong when i said i probably wouldn’t get any sides from it, i definitely do.  First 2 weeks i was increasing weight on my lifts like usual.  Some light acne on my shoulders.  3rd week more acne on my face, big strength increases.  4th week (which i stopped short) i had massive strength increases, but the headaches…. terrible.
Problem - i’m pretty much recovered from my sickness and my strength BLOWS.  I feel like i lost all the gains from Jungle Warfare.  To give you an idea, last week on Wednesday (re:  Very sick and feeling very shitty) i put up 315 on bench.  Today (9 days later), i am almost fully recovered from my sickness, but i could BARELY do 265×3 on bench.  I felt so weak.  So i really feel like the strength gaisn from JW disappeared.
And strength gains is all i got from it, no mass.  Just strength.  A ton of strength, and then all gone.

7/10.
-1 for headaches, -1 for the strength being temporary, -1 for it making me sick.
Otherwise, it does what it says and does it damn well.  I got another bottle and i’m going to use it later.  The strength is so fun.  Hopefully if i run it later, not in a cold season, i will avoid getting sick, and maybe i’ll be able to retain SOME of teh frigging strength…
Anyway despite what you’ve read here, i really like Jungle Warfare and 7/10 is a good score.  It’s a good product.

Little Guys on PHs

Saturday, January 13th, 2007

I am usually mad when i make these posts.  I was pretty upset when i wrote the this one originally.  I am no longer considering leaving this place, although i think things could be run better, and i WOULD like to see an index of lbm/height implemented.  It’s no matter.  What i wanted to say was very simple and did not deserve so many paragraphs of ranting.  Small, bitchy people should not spam the supplement section with steroid/prohormone questions, and certainly not use them.

I’m a pretty bad responder

Wednesday, January 3rd, 2007

I only joined up bb.com recently and my activity has been confined mostly to the supp section. I decided i needed to get into supps because i was planning a killer bulk and had been only using protein. So i spent loads of money and i’ve stocked up on a multitude of creatine, protein, NO, and other products.

I’ve learned that i’m not much of a responder.

It started with NO products. Nitrobolic Extreme did nothing for me, i tried Shock Therapy, same thing. 1 scoop and i can’t even tell if i took something or not. I once took Shock Therapy and was almost asleep 15 minutes later. I do like Superpump 250, but it doesn’t get me awake, aware, or focused. It does help the pump a bit though. Some people take Superpump and have stomach problems with it… i took 2 scoops until my tub ran out and had no problems at all. Love the stuff, love the taste. Hehe, when i took 2 scoops of Shock Therapy, instead of it working, i just felt out of breath and slightly sick, that kinda racing heart feeling. I guess it’s from the load of caffeine in 2 scoops of ST. Before these products, my daily caffeine intake was exactly 0.
My friend takes superpump and says that he can FEEL it kicking in. Feels the energy and intensity. He takes caffeine and feels a difference. I used to think energy drinks were a scam. Didn’t work. I’ve had a few energy drinks. Freshmen year of college, we all remember that. To me they just taste really sweet, and it ends there. When other people claim that it makes them hyper, i used to chuck it all up the the placebo effect. Now i realize, I just don’t respond to stims.

There was Stimulant-X. I got the sample pack with 4 pills in it. I was reading the thread and people said to be careful and only take 1 pill at a time because one made them "bounce off the walls" for the rest of the day. Well my first pill seemed to work, i think i was focusing better. Could have been placebo. The next two didn’t do anything at all, couldn’t tell the difference. I gave the last pill away. I kinda expected more when people talk about feeling energy high all day. What does that mean? I never really feel like i have high or low energy. Sometimes i’m tired but only if i’ve been sitting around for hours.

When i had purchased the Halodrol liquigels, exactly how hormonal they are was still undetermined, and several people recommended Novedex XT as "optional PCT." Myself being 19 i decided to be safe and use it. So i went through my bottle of Novedex XT.
Pretty much like this
week 1: 2/day
week 2: 4/day
week 3: 3/day
I have read that an AI should make you a little leaner from the decrease in estrogen, and of course should help with strength and i suppose help slightly with muscle gains. I didn’t notice anything. And i was expecting a little something… i should have gained from Placebo effect alone. I really found nothing at all.

I just started taking E-Bol after the liquigels. I had read to expect vivid dreams, 24/7 muscle fullness, and strength increases. At first i noticed the dreams yes, and the muscle fullness at first… then that went away. Strength increases — none, gains are at the slow normal rate and i’m about 2/3 done with the bottle.

You know what i DO respond to?  Creatine.  Stuff works.

Why am i posting this?  I am pissed off and jealous of all you people who respond to stimulants and supplements.

But i’m pretty proud of what i’ve done anyway. I think i need more powerful supplements. I’m hoping Jungle Warfare will do something. Or maybe the 2nd bottle dosed at 4/day will do something :) . I hope.

Watch - people complain and lethargy and splitting headaches.  I am betting i will get no sides.  I’m pissed off, but it’s OK.  I will simply stop buying NO products and give up on Stimulants.  At least the feeling of toughness makes me feel a little compensated.
