E-Bol and Jungle Warfare Review
Friday, February 2nd, 2007You’ll have to read my first blog to get some context for my review. I’m not a very good responder to most things!
With that said, i ran E-Bol from mid december to mid january. The first week or so overlapped with Novedex XT (which i got nothing from), and the rest was mostly by itself. Towards the end it overlapped with Jungle Warfare, but this was before JW had kicked in (first two weeks).
Honestly i got nothing from E-Bol. No feeling of "well-being." I dont know what this often mentioned well-being is. Honestly i think someone said that and now everybody says that when they take E-Bol even if nothing is happening. At first i thought i was having vivid dreams. But i’m still having vivid dreams right now (no E-Bol for weeks). I forgot how strong the placebo effect is. It had no impact on my dreams, and definitely no "pump." I didn’t get any more pump, and no muscle fullness. I get muscle fullness from eating a shitload of carbs, not red pills. Strength gains were happening oh yes, but i always get strength gains. My workout log is proof. Strength gains were very slow on E-Bol.
2/10 rating from me. Maybe i’m not a responder, but that doesn’t mean i’m going to be nice and guess what rating E-Bol should deserve. It didn’t do crap for me and thus gets a crappy score. Not buying again.
Personally, i hope YOU respond to E-Bol. I hope you love it. Damn you responders.
Jungle Warfare
Ran this at 3 caps a day from January 1 to January 25th. I got it off because i got super sick and got massive headaches. Between being so sick and those headaches, i was so miserable. That’s already 2 points off JW - the headaches BLOW (and no, food does not help them), and i got so sick right when JW was hitting me hard. I don’t think its coincidence, i think a lot of these supps mess up the immune system. About 3 days after i stopped taking Jungle Warfare is when the effects of JW were leaving me (RE: strength down), and curiously this is also when i started getting better.
This is similar to what happened to me on Halodrol liquigels, only i kept taking those and was sick for 3 weeks (an unheard of duration for me).
Now the good news. I respond to JW. I was wrong when i said i probably wouldn’t get any sides from it, i definitely do. First 2 weeks i was increasing weight on my lifts like usual. Some light acne on my shoulders. 3rd week more acne on my face, big strength increases. 4th week (which i stopped short) i had massive strength increases, but the headaches…. terrible.
Problem - i’m pretty much recovered from my sickness and my strength BLOWS. I feel like i lost all the gains from Jungle Warfare. To give you an idea, last week on Wednesday (re: Very sick and feeling very shitty) i put up 315 on bench. Today (9 days later), i am almost fully recovered from my sickness, but i could BARELY do 265×3 on bench. I felt so weak. So i really feel like the strength gaisn from JW disappeared.
And strength gains is all i got from it, no mass. Just strength. A ton of strength, and then all gone.
7/10.
-1 for headaches, -1 for the strength being temporary, -1 for it making me sick.
Otherwise, it does what it says and does it damn well. I got another bottle and i’m going to use it later. The strength is so fun. Hopefully if i run it later, not in a cold season, i will avoid getting sick, and maybe i’ll be able to retain SOME of teh frigging strength…
Anyway despite what you’ve read here, i really like Jungle Warfare and 7/10 is a good score. It’s a good product.
