Me ranting about health care again.
Ok, so I know I’m not real articulate, but bare with me here would you please.
I was listening to the BBC world news and they started talking about health care and health care reform. It’s my understanding that it’s the president’s honorable intention to see that every American has heath care insurance available to them. Great! I think that’s wonderful, how ever… If the costs of this plan are to be paid for by government funds then the people who utilize it need to make some lifestyle changes to reduce their health care needs. They need to stop using tobacco, alcohol and drugs. They need to clean up their diets and stop eating and drinking junk foods. Diabetes is at an all time high and so is obesity. I would guess that many health issues could be resolved if people would take better care of their bodies and what they ingest.
Makes me mad to think people are whining about health care but are not willing to do anything themselves to improve there personal health. They sit in bars, drinking, smoking, eating crap food then complain about their health and not having health care insurance. Come on people step up to the plate, and I’m not talking about the dinner plate. You can’t destroy your body by eating unhealthy foods, consuming alcohol, drugs and tobacco then expect the government to come along and pay for your stupidity. I mean how many of you are mad about all the CEO’s who drove the market into the ground and now expect and depend on the government to “Bail them out” Your doing the same thing by eating that crap food, smoking those dumb cigarettes, drinking that nasty alcohol and using those drugs. Get up off the couch, work and workout. Eat and apple instead of an apple pie. Eat an orange instead of drinking processed orange juice. Drink water or skim milk instead of soda. There is so much you can do to improve your own health and health care.

Well when I’m in school its more conveinent for me to workout up here in the gym on campus. So I won’t be at the zone much ’till I graduate in December. Sucks, I like the zone more but oh well. Yea, it’s kinda funny how my opinion has changed on political views the last couple years. My mom is/was really poor when I was growing up so I always liked the democratic views. But now I see that everyone has the same opportunities to make good decisions, better yourself, and earn your living and benefits. You can’t just do the same old thing and expect the government to support you. If what your doing now isn’t working, do something else, take risks, make it happen. Same with health care, I agree with you. I plan on getting a good job, having benefits, eating clean, working out, etc. And I don’t want to have my benefits and earnings taxed for the fat, lazy people who can’t even stand up because of their poor decisions and lazyness.
