Summer+Alcohol=HOT MESS!

Hey everyone,

I’ve been slacking off lately and it is totally showing! I get to a certain point where I look good and I want to go and celebrate. 10 (scratch that) 50 gallons of alcohol later my body is WRECKED. I feel and look terrible. What’s my solution to this problem you ask? I’ve thought long and hard about my situation and the truth of the matter is. . .there is NO WAY I’ll be able to obtain the body I want if I keep consuming large quantities of beer and vodka. I’ve decided to make a promise to myself that I will only drink during special occasions. I know it’s going to be very difficult. ESPECIALLY, since my friends are huge drinkers, but I need to accomplish my goal! That being said, I’m taking my fat ass to the gym after work.

    Good luck Aubree and stick with it! ALL of my friends drink too and at first it was hard not to have a drink (I wasn’t a huge drinker but liked to have a good time)…I haven’t had A drink since last July…so almost a year…stick with it and it will get easier! :)

    My thoughts are, if you join an organization and if that organization has a certain "corporate culture" then you have to follow that corp culture.

    Some things you can do is drink one water between every drink, I drink a CoreMRP prior to going to a party, if you poor a wine for yourself, pour half-a glass.

    Change friends maybe, hang-out with bb,
    be come the designated driver….

    I dunno…..I only drink 2 beers, always lite beer,
    I have 2 Fri nite and then 2 sat nite….

    I know it’s tough. Do a search on bb.com on alcohol
    and you’ll find tons of info….

    I drink flavored sparkling water which seems to satisfy my need for sweets. Also question your logic - I used to drink a beer everytime a finished cutting the grass - who says you have to drink a beer after yard work….

    I studied my conventional thinking and changed things around….

    Good luck, it’s a tough issue, I feel for you. You’re young and you want to sow your wild oats….double your cardio prior to your party…
