DAY 4 of my Transformation

May 8, 2009

Sore still from my leg workout on Day 2 lol, Today was a good work out, my back , delts, lats. I was in good spirits, my work out partner didnt show up but its cool, me and my mp3 player rocked on anyway lol. I can say that the dumbell shrugs was a killer in this session. 3 X 50. yep again, this was waaay worse than the legs lol. i was hurting on the first set but it was worth it. followed up with some rows and lat pulldowns, overall it was a good session. Followed it with 25 minutes of cardio, I was gonna run but hell, i couldnt run to save my life, my quads were still on fire from DAY 2 lol, here was my workout

3 X 15 dumbell rows

3 x 50 dumbell shrugs

3 X 12 underhand lat pull downs

2 X failure widegrip overhand lat pull downs

3 X12 standing pull downs

Abdominals

25 minute Cardio

DAY 2 of my Transformation

May 6, 2009

its day two, my diet is going well, no temptations at this point, i was to tired yesterday to document this in the same day but, this workout was hella crazy, it took my will to complete it without cheating or shorting myself. My legs are literally in failure with each step i take. I think the toughest part was the 3 X 50 leg presses. This took alot of fortitude to complete i ve never done alot of reps like this. overall i felt great. When i got to the squat bar i was literally running on will, i felt like a jelly fish, after the squats it was down hill from there, leg extensions and lying curls were great. Here was my work out.

 Leg press 3 X 50

SQuats 2 X 20

2 X 15 Leg extensions

2 X 15 lying leg curls

Day 1 of my transformation

May 4, 2009

Today i started my journey to drop 30lbs and be in contest shape by nov 7th 2009. I have to say the diet is farely easy to follow b/c i have always been strict on my self, and to add that im very anxious to start.

My workout today was exhausting for the most part. This may be largely due to the loss of endurance. I missed the last 2 months out of the gym due to work. well i hit it from time to time, but nothing consistent, to maintain endurance. I really felt exhaustion very quick while working my chest. the barbell neck presses tired me out pretty quickly, then on to the dumbell incline press, this was a little better for me. The remainder of the workout was ok. I have to get adjusted to the low carbohydrate intake while on this cutting diet. I completed 30 minutes of cardio after my training. I felt alot better after this, maybe due to the lactic acid being flushed away. But i will do cardio early morning for now own. Looking forward to my leg workout tomorrow! My motivation level is very high at this point. Im very eager to see progress in the coming weeks. Here is a sample of my work today.

3 X failure barbell neck presses

3 X 12 dumbell incline presses

3 x 10 dumbell flatbench flyes

3 X 30 seated alternating dumbell curls

2 X 20 standing hammer curls

2 X failure, machine preacher curls

30 minutes of cardio ( elliptical trainer)
