The past few weeks, I’ve had my brother come out and teach me more about lifting etc. I now know more then I knew before. I’d really like to get a more custom work out going so I can get the results that I want.
I need toning all over, esp my thighs (I’m 25, I should not have cellulite! lol) and my abs. Does anyone know a good workout or someone I can talk to that can make up a work out for me? Thanks!

So, I’ve been trying to stay faithful to getting to the gym and getting a routine down. This week has gone well for me, even with the wisdom teeth extraction pain!
Monday- Legs
Tuesday-Triceps/Back
Wednesday- Yoga Class
Thursday- Abs
Hopefully tomorrow I will go and do chest and biceps. Woot! I’m way excited!

Ok, as of tomorrow, yes tomorrow, I am changing my eating habits and I am going to eat cleaner. I’ve been working out on a regular basis now and while that has been great, it’s not enough. So, now that my b-day is over, and I’m not happy with being 25 and the way I look, I’m doing something about it. I’m going to need a lot of motivation over the next few weeks!

So, today being the good daughter that I am, decided to mow the lawn for my mom. Now, I should mention this is the first time I’ve ever mowed the lawn. About half way through, I realized that I wanted to die. lol If you have never experienced a Missouri summer consider yourself lucky! Extreme swamp ass alert! My hands are two gigantic blisters! And after it was all said and done, my mother tells me our mower is self-propelled. I must say mowing the lawn was the best work out I’ve ever had. lol

Ok, so myfriend is a personal trainer and she asked me how the gym was going. I told it was going pretty good. And it is. I’ve worked out everyday so far.
Long story short, she told me not to use any of the machines. That because of my body type, I’m building muscle on top of fat. Can anyone explain this to me? I’m all for advice and want the best results possible. I thought that I was supposed to be using weight machines though?! Or what this just her nice way of saying.. maybe you should do more cardio? lol

Based my blog yesterday and all the great stuff ppl posted, I think it is time for a change. Not only mental but physical. It is definetely time for new, more specific goals. I need to mull this over a little bit still to write them down.
