T.G.I.F!!! And ready for the weekend!

Hi Everyone and Happy Friday!

Hope you are great!  Question, it’s 7 days in a week why do we get overly excited for 2 of those days (Sat and Sun)?

So…I was up at 5 at the gym at 6 doing my cardio.  I’m really pushing to try to get cardio in 2x a day 3x per week.  Fridays are the hardest considering my express spin class is on Thursday nights and yesterday’s class seemed so much harder…but I made it throught to the end.  I probably will have to take it easy on the running, my knees are starting to hurt when I walk up steps.  I guess that’s what happens when you run 15 -20 miles a week.  I refuse to say it’s my age or arthritis.

I’m finally getting to eating!  When you are a schedule to eat it gets hard at times.  My co-workers come in with pizza. I try not to get mad it’s not their fault.  I just keep saying to myself pro card.  But damn it I want that pizza! LOL.  I’m seriously thinking about acupuncture to take away my cravings for junk food…yes I’m human I get cravings.

I can’t wait to get out of here early so I can head to the gym for more cardio and a total body workout.  I realized the other day that I am now in the gym 7 days a week.  Fridays used to be my off day…not anymore.  You have to sacrifice sometimes in order to obtain your ultimate goal.  Now if I could sacrifice buying shoes…that’s another story :)

HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND!!!

We celebrate Friday, becuase it signifies the end of the work week for most of us. I remember when i used to work in sales…..I had no T.G.I of anything because I worked weekends. These days, although the parting has subsided, I am still greatful for my weekends off. I workout mon-Fri, so my weekends are for relaxing, and resting.

I know how you feel with the pizza. My co-workers over here love BBQ’s, and order it almost every damn day. Meanwhile I’m looking at them like "if you only turn your head but one time"……. lol
    Peace!!

    Amen on TGIF.
I hear you on the pizza, and today one guy brought in a made from scratch cherry cheesecake….no no no. Another a huge meatball sandwich and asked if I was sure I didn’t want half(as I was eating my can a tuna and apple) he laughed and said you better stay on YOUR diet. Oh well, it will pay off.
Have a great weekend and keep pushing yourself harder all the time.
