Always Training

Monday, May 18th, 2009

Hi Everyone!

Sorry no pictures from the show yet..the pictures my girlfriend took…let’s just say I don’t know what she was doing with the camera.  LOL!

Anywho, I’m still training, that never stops.  I’ve been eating clean with a cheat day once a week. I’ve been cooking like crazy lately…I found some great recipies in Oxygen magazine…guys I know you don’t read that but it’s a great magazine especially for recipies. Oh and clean eating has some great stuff too!

Yesterday I cooked for 3 hours making enough food for the week! Hmmm let’s see I made cajun shrimp, chicken stir fry, pasta rollups, strawberry spinach salad; I even made the salad dressing and curry chicken salad.  I wanted to make my chocolate meringues…low fat and low in sugar of course! After all that I was tired damn it!  LOL!

Anywayz, I hope y’all have been doing great!  I attached the links to 3 of the recipies I used yesterday, and they are some kind of good! Have a great day!!

Good morning and happy Monday!!

I hope your weekend was blessed!

Well I have finished my first show for the year and I can say it was one of the most interesting shows I have competed in.  I placed 5th.  I wasn’t mad about my placing; just puzzled; puzzled by my placing and placing of other competitors in other catagories.

I really have no idea what the judges were "looking" for in this show.  I question the fact that you have a figure category and all of the judges were body building competitors and the one judge competed in a figure show doesn’t even have her pro card?!  I respect judges and their decisions however I have more respect for judges when they have EARNED the right to be a judge.  Again it was an interesting show.  I’m not discouraged nor frustrated however if I compete in that particular show next it will strictly be my prep show to get the jitters out.

As of right now I am trying to decide whether or not I am going to compete in June or wait until August.  If I compete in June I have 6 weeks to change my body and reduce my body fat more.  So we’ll see how I feel.  Thanks for all your support and I’ll post pictures as soon I get them.  Smooches
