So… the plan was to go into the air force, but I found a "better opportunity." Which would have been great… a management training program that required me to work 80 hours a week. However things began popping up such as the fact that we had to train not only people we hired but also the newbies on others’ "teams"… and we had to pay their training. So after three months, working 80 hours a week and making paychecks as low as $180 a week, I find out I’m pregnant. It could’ve been a good opportunity but now I can’t handle the stress, hours, and debt so I’ve decided to move on. Now, I definately can’t ever go in the air force because my husband is active duty and you can’t enlist if your spouse is active duty and you already have a child. Oh well… at least now I know for sure what my priorities are in life. If nothing else, it taught me that money isn’t everything, even though I still plan on banking :). Also, now I can get back into working out! I haven’t been to the gym since we moved in January and I really miss it. Plus now that I’m pregnant, I really need to get my body back on track so I don’t regret it and have complications or a hard time getting back in shape afterwards. No gym, but we have some weight equipment in the garage… guess that will work for now.

First blog… guess I’ll get this thing started. I can’t believe how much this site has motivated me. My husband used to always nag me about going to the gym, and it just annoyed the hell out of me. I had a decent body- 5′2 at 110. What’s wrong with that? Granted, I couldn’t walk up a flight of stairs without getting winded. That’s his reason for nagging me. We even had a gym at our apartment complex- I think I went twice the whole summer. Until one day he sent me a article on staying fit while pregnant and this woman’s body (at about 4 months pregnant!) just amazed me. Since then, I’m on here all the time… and I think with the exception of being on vacation, I haven’t gone four days in a row without hitting the gym. (Which is a very big accomplishment for Ms. twice a year.) Every time I’m in the shower I find a new muscle… it’s freaking awesome today when reaching for the shampoo I discovered that I have a cut in my upper arm, a REAL BICEP is building!! wooo!! I feel pretty badass… even a guy at work asked me if I work out. That’ll get you back to the gym! haha. Let’s just hope with the move coming up in two weeks that I don’t have to be out of the gym very long… I’m officially addicted.
