After last month’s annual family luau, I begin the horrible cycle of gettin’ lazy, eating whatever I can get my hands on and not working out…at all! But now, after a month long break…I began to realize that my inactive lifestyle has taken a toll on me; eventually motivating me to get back in shape…again! LOL. It’s hard to get back in my original workout regiment (one reason mainly because I’m no longer in the military - so it’s not mandatory) but I’m trying my best to do it and maybe create a new and better one! So here I am..again..saying I am going to but it really boils down to the ol’ cliche, "…actions speak louder than words!" So hopefully I can actually keep my own words this time…only time will tell!

OKAY! After lots of procrastination, I’ve finally started creating my personal workout plan. Before, I didn’t really have an organized idea, which just really didn’t get me anywhere. I would constantly find myself being bored and doing the same exercises, without variety; as a result, it just gave me an easy excuse to not workout as much and as hard as i had originally planned. So now, I’m almost done making my FINAL workout plan; which not only includes all the exercises for each fundamental body part, but also cardio and what days to do it.

I finally bought a jump rope the other day and started to do that for cardio, since I can’t always run outside. It’s a great exercise that’s convenient, fast and especially simple; as a result, it’s an ideal way to work on cardiovascular endurance while also enhancing performance, agility and speed as well. Looks like I won’t have an excuse NOT to do cardio!

Today I started working out a little bit after a month of vacation. Trust me, after being lazy and inactive for a month, I have less energy, always tired and I find myself sitting around munching on snacks while I lay on the couch and watch tv. So today really marks the beginning of my working out regiment… I’m planning on eating more healthier foods, cutting out snacks/sugars etc and exercising more (with emphasis on cardio). Hopefully this will help me reach my goal.
