2009….time for change for the better

Hello all, just thought I’d share my New year resolutions with you all. There not necessarily in any specific order but let me know what you think.

1. Become closer to God, I would love for my spiritual strength to be on the same level of my physical strength.

2. Become a far more positive person….like we learned in church yesterday; me must be more positive about life, church and other people.  So I want to cut out all those nasty thoughts and live a happier joyous life. 

3.  Improve my mental health.  As I stated before I want it to be on the same level of my physical health.

4.  Be better prepared for the next knee surgery, whenever that may be. Wow it’s been rough and this leg is so weak and puney lol

5.  Lose these 2 stubborn inches off my waist. I have this incredible meal plan and I am dedicated so I think things will go well.

6.  Get these awful legs back into shape, add a couple of inches to my legs as well as my arms. 

 

well I believe that’s about it :-) happy 2009!

Recovering from knee surgery

Well guys, it’s almost been a month since my lateral release and wow it’s no joke.  Found out yesterday while I was in physical therapy that I’m not where I should or need to be.  My range of motion isn’t good and they had to force that knee to bend and let me tell you……that hurt so bad I was in tears. So now I’m wondering if anyone out there has any pointers or exercises I can do to make this darn knee bend more than I am doing.  I want to heal properly of course so I’m willing to do what it takes.  So I’m open to any advice you may have for me. Thanks and have a blessed day. 

Boxing

I found a place out here that has a fitness and boxing program. I am beyond excited. It consists of cardio, abs, chest and boxing techniques and moves. I’ve always enjoyed boxing, MMA and UFC. But I’m supposed to have knee surgery this fall. Should I go ahead and start or should I wait until after I heel?  I am also looking to one day learn kick boxing. :-)

New Training

Ok now I am trying something different.  I do my cardio and abs in the morning prior to work.  I do it about 3 to 5 days a week.  Then I weight train after work Monday-Friday.  Some people are worried that I’m over doing it.  Let me know what you think….thanks!!!!!!

Need some advice

Someone recommended I try NO-xlpode. Is it safe for females to use creatine? I’ve heard many different things so I’m not exactly sure. Also, does anyone have any comments on either Hydroxy cut (which I currently experiment with) and Lipo6? thanks guys!!!
