Recovering from knee surgery

Well guys, it’s almost been a month since my lateral release and wow it’s no joke.  Found out yesterday while I was in physical therapy that I’m not where I should or need to be.  My range of motion isn’t good and they had to force that knee to bend and let me tell you……that hurt so bad I was in tears. So now I’m wondering if anyone out there has any pointers or exercises I can do to make this darn knee bend more than I am doing.  I want to heal properly of course so I’m willing to do what it takes.  So I’m open to any advice you may have for me. Thanks and have a blessed day.

Hi, Evvy. Sorry abt the complications. I’ve had co-workers go thru knee replacements and meniscus removal. Try a soak in warm to hot water (30 min), then knee bends similar to PT.
It’s still early in your healing, so stay positive and upbeat. You’re as strong as steel, and will overcome.
