Well another week under the belt. I lost 4lbs. and some more on the measurements. I calculated this morning that if I can lose avg. of 3 lbs. a week I could be at my goal weight in 11 weeks. So that is my motivation 3 lb weekly weight loss.

The last two weeks have been difficult. Two weeks ago I had a major eating issue and blew my nutrition. I ate terrible all week. But I have corrected that and I am back on track. I had a 1lb. gain this week which is not to bad for what last week was like. I did not want to weigh or do measurements last week. I knew it was bad. I still saw losses in my measurements. I have lost a total of 4 inches on my waiste. I hope to be under 200 within the newt few weeks. So keep an eye open. I posted a new pic too.

Well this was a tough week. I was still fighting the effects of the Strep. Fatigue was a huge issue. I got through the week. I missed too many days of weight training and cardio. I still managed to lose 5 lbs. So far I have lost 18lbs in 5 weeks. That is were I wanted to be 3-4 lbs a week average.

Wow this week started out horrible. I started off the week with Strep Throat. That totaly screwed my nutrition up. I only ate like 2-3 times in 2 days. I did not weight train all week and only did a couple days of cardio. That illness fatigued me all week. I know the twos days of not eating slowed my metablolism, I just do not know how much. I only lost 1 lb. this week. But it is still a loss. Just looking at this post I realize I do not like saying lost, losing, loss, etc. You only loose something you did not want be rid of. So I am going to start saying I rid myself of weight. I do not want it back ever again!!!

I am down 12 lbs. and can already feel the difference in energy. I just feel healthier. I am a little ahead of my goal of 3 lbs. a week but my nutrition and workouts are not any different than last week. I missed a couple days of working out because of illness but got right back into the groove which was nice. It is finally getting to the point of a habit instead of work. That goes for nutrition and workouts! My wife is doing great too. It is nice to do this as a couple.

Still making progress. Lost 2 lbs this week for a total of 7 lbs in 2 weeks. I felt pretty good about 2 lbs. because I have felt blowed all week, not sure why. I went ahead and did measurements and lost 2 inches on the waiste line so something is going right. Eating was just as easy this week. Workouts were great. As long as I keep losing something that is all that matters.

Well the first week has past and it went well. We did not try to diet, we just tried to change meals to become more healthy. I lost 5 lbs. and my wife lost 6 lbs. We did cardio Monday-Friday and plan on a session today. We lift lightly this past week, just because we knew the soreness would follow. Tomorrow we raising the stakes in the weight room. I will post a picture around Jan. 31 with measurements. Good luck to all who are trying to change their life.

Today was the day. My wife and I got going. Our goal is different than it has been in the past. We are trying to get a lifestyle change. We have said that in the past but noticed we were trying to lose the weight fast which set us up for failure. Now we feel we are in it for the long haul. Keep us in your prayers and any advice would be welcomed.
