Week 11 of 20

Thursday, July 10th, 2008

My posing is night and day even from last week. I am now working both sides for posing and holding them for 10 seconds a piece. Also, learned how to relax my back for front/back relaxed. I was having trouble with rear lat spread but its evident from pics that I am pickingup on them now.

 Abs are coming in better and I’m def looking leaner. Scale has stayed the same not too concerned. As far as diet goes, I have added a little more fats eating 1 teaspoon of PB after every meal as a way to slow down digestion and experimenting all this week with that to see if I am getting enough calories and fats.

 My workouts are going really well. Ever since 2 weeks ago when I started the controlled labs products I have seen significant increase in pumps, vascularity and strength  (315×5 on bench). I am getting pushed hard 4 days a week with Sarah nto letting me settle for 12 reps and pushing through 15 and on legs day with Brian he is really pushing me through making sure I get my heavy weights in as well. I have a great supporting group. He also works on posing with me and maybe this week I’ll actually pose with Sarah (scared haha).

 Now I’m coming through the home stretch and this will be my last week with shitty foods as the last 8 weeks will be even more strict than now. I will play it by mirror each week to assess. Any input or criticisms would be helpful. Please tear me apart if I need it, it will only motivate me more to do what I need to do. I don’t wanna hear I’m fat and thats it. I want to hear what I should do to improve though if thats the case. Anyways until next week happy lifting….maybe I’ll watch pumping iron for some extra motivation this weekend haha.

Week 10 of 20

Friday, July 4th, 2008

This week I started lifting heavier in all lifts except for legs which I will harder on my second leg day on Sunday. Surprised myself on deadlift getting 10 reps with 405 but hell if my traps still aren’t paying for it! Chest blew up nice this week and fata round the bottom chest is slowly dissapearing. Leg day i did 2 sets of 50 reps with 3 plates on a side then did 30 reps with 5 plates on a side and finished with 7 plates ona  side for 12. Next day my legs looked really good and full with upper thigh popping out with more side glute definition. Shoulders are capping off nice at the top. I was little lax in my posing this week but plan on buying a bog mirror to practice at home when I need to get outta the gym. Been posing 3 rds EOD this week.

 

As far as diet goes this was the first week in which I have craved carbs or weird foods. Who the hell craves peanut butter and graham crackers. I haven’t even eaten that snack since like 1st grade. I’m also craving burgers with the bun of course and reeses cups(Thanks for making that re-enter my mind again Sarah! ;) -). I haven’t been hungry at all though. I cut out  alot of fats and am basically on pure protein with an extra dosage of EFAs 6000mg fish oil and 5200mg evening primrose oil now.

 I have not lost more than 1 pound in the last 2 weeks but I keep getting observations from people that say I look more vascular and ripped than even last week. I guess thats a good thing. I also almost forgot I just started taking NO,Creatine and Purple Wrath as directed by my workout partner, and I have been pleasently surprised by how I feel and look. Wasn’t much of a supplement guy until now…WOW!

 Cardio was stepped up to 60 min daily sometimes a little more depending on time. Next week 65minutes daily 5-6 times week. Remember I do 6 days of weights with 2 legs days so 5 in my opinion shoudl be enough.

 As far as other things the training is going well and I’m getting pushed really hard and getting reminders that "I’m a little bitch" when I start slacking during a workout at all haha. I have a great support group of Brian, Sarah, Dennis and Egg Roll, and things are looking up thus far. Now if I can just keep up with abs I’ll be well on my way.
