I guess I don’t give myself enough credit. I am really hard on myself! But today, after having a really good workout that included 6 sets of 3 pull ups, I was feeling on top of the world!
I have veins popping on my shoulders, forearms and ABS (yes, abs!). My resting heart rate is about 46 bmp. And I am getting a six pack. What else can I ask for?
I am happy!

Today I attempted to do some pull ups. I had not done any in a while, since I changed my routine to Janthony’s. Well, I guess I got stronger like wonder woman. I DID 6!!!!! On my own, no spotter!!!!!! When I was done I looked around to see if someone saw me LOL. I was all smiles after that, hell I am still smiling!!!! To proud of myself!

This week I am enjoying a brand new body!!! Yes, I have been eating cleaner (one cheat meal a week), and I have increased my protein intake. But the results have been amazing!!!!
In 3 months I have lost 10 lbs and gained I don’t know how much muscle…but you be the judge! I fit in my goal jeans, my waist is 26" and I weigh 128lbs!
I still have about 21 days till I go to the states (for a week only though) and then I will back to Iraq, and back into my hardcore weight loss program…until July when I go on leave for 15 days at the BEACH!! Bikini body!

I guess I have been gaining muscle, because my scale wasn’t moving. Last night after my gym session I decided to weigh myself and surprise surprise, I had lost 2 lbs…maybe I was bloated, I am not sure. I also tried my goal jeans on and they FIT! I couldnt zip them, but I can put them on.
I am on day 2 of Janthony’s diet and training program. I am hoping by the end of the month I will be able to fit in my jeans with no problems.
Gotta keep eating that tuna!

Since I commited to Janthony (and to myself) to stick to my diet and workouts, I went to our PX today and bought 8 cans of white tuna on water. They were expensive, but I know they are worth it.
The problem is that I need to find a can opener…there are none in Iraq.

So, I have a new trainer, and he changed my diet a tad bit, as well as my aerobic. I will try to post my food intake from now on for accountability purposes and starting tomorrow AM, I will run at 6mph for 30 minutes and I will do 15 minutes on the stairclimber keeping my HR at 152-160 bpm.
I am so pumped about this!!! I love the results I have gotten in the last 2.5 months while working out like a maniac and eating much better than before. My goal is that in the next 4 weeks, I am down to the 120s, I can see my abs, and I fit in those bebe size 28 skinny jeans. I will accomplish this with the help of Janthony!

I wasn’t at my 100% physically-wise today, since I still have a bit of sniffles and this morning I woke up with the worse headache ever…but around noon I felt good and went to the gym. Today was back day, so I did my "pull-ups" with a spotter. Last week I completed one pull up on my own. This week…I did 3!!!!!!! OMG, where is all this strenght coming from? Well it doesn’t matter as long as it stays in MY house I am so happy! After my back workout I did 3 miles of HIT, alternating between 5mph-9mph. I need to keep kicking my own @ss, because I will be going to the states in 4 weeks and I better drop some jaws….

I have been working out (or should I say training) with a female. She has no clue about working out whatsoever, other than she wants to be "skinny". I have no problem showing people the proper form and how to use the gym equipment as well as how to assess the appropriate HR range to obtain results, but the fact that she wants to work out with me every day feels like my workouts are not good. I have to correct her constantly on form, intensity, etc. so I have to stop whatever I am doing to go "fix" her up. This morning, she didn’t get up to go workout, so I went to the gym by myself (yes I was happy too). About 5 minutes into my workout she showed up and asked me how come I didn’t wake her up. I told her (as I have done once in the past already), I am not going to wake her up. So…I spent about 1:45 at the gym, when I know I can spend 45 minutes easily, just because I was working out with her, showing her the equipment, all that…
I really want to help her, but I am not sure she is progressing. I am just venting, its getting on my nerves because my workouts seem to be suffering and getting way too long.
Thank God I don’t workout with this person everyday, but isn’t 5 days a week too much?

I did it!!!! I finally did one pull up on my own!!!!!! For the first time ever in my life, I did it. Was it the NO Explode? Or the Iraqi lunch food? Or the muscles? I don’t know and really I dont care either! That is one down 9 more to go, in 10 months left!
