Today I took the day off from the weight room and did 30 minutes on the stairclimber, 15 on the rowing machine and 20 on the ellyptical. I think my body needed a break from lifting. Tonight I will be teaching salsa for about 2 hours…so more cardio for me!
The plan is to do push ups/lower body exercises for cross fit tomorrow. I will probably throw up. Nice…

Every week I am noticing more and more changes. I can feel my body getting toned! My progress pictures might not be showing it, but I am getting better and better. My heart rate is lower and its getting harder to make it go up. My pants are fitting much better, even though my "goal jeans" size 28 from Bebe skinny jeans don’t fit yet. This morning my roommate (who sees me every day) told me I looked thinner! Yes, made me very happy.
I am not sure if the extra cardio session in the morning with an empty stomach is the responsible one for my progress or maybe my adherence to a stricter diet with one cheat meal a week (can’t wait for my twinkies to get here!). Or maybe its the 2 salsa sessions a week I am doing.
I have been weighing myself but it seems all the scales in the green zone are 200 years old and they are not calibrated. So I ordered my own. I have a tape measure though, and I have lost about 2 inches from my waist since I got here.
Working out and helping others to workout makes me VERY happy. I have been thinking about doing it seriously and becoming a personal trainer.
I can’t wait to see the results of 11 more months of this kind of training

I have been taken hydroxycut and ripped tabs for about a month now. So I decided to take a break from them. Starting today until the 1st of February.
However, I am going to do one day of Crossfit and one day of aerobic only a week with 5 days of lifting.

I guess the anxiety or the stress got me bingeing on crappy food yesterday. I had been doing great until I got back from the gym yesterday and sat on my desk. I need to get it under control! I started drinking the hydroxycut powder drink to see if it curves my appetite, but I know I must eat clean in order to loose weight. It is so hard with the DFAC food too! I cant wait to have sashimi tuna again.

I just started my new routine yesterday. The plan is to do legs twice a week, Chest/tris, back/bis, shoulders/delts. I will do 25-30 minutes of cardio in the AM, lift around 1600 and do about 30 minutes of cardio afterwards. I am planning on doing this for a month. I will also do crossfit once a week, and salsa dancing for about 2 hours on my rest day.

I tried cross fit for the first time today. I ran half a mile at 8mph, did 50 hyperextensions, 25 push ups, 50 sit-ups. All that times 4. Pretty good workout. After that I did the rowing machine for 10 minutes and I stretch. Tonight I will go salsa dancing for about 3 hours!! Quite the workout.I think I might do that work out once a week, for a change, to break out from the plateu.
Tomorrow I will start my new 5 day split, with 2 of those days being legs. I might do cardio in the AM and lifting in the afternoon with a bit more of cardio.
Here comes the major weight loss!

Today I decided to do cardio only. I ran 3 miles @ 6mph and then I walked with incline @ 4mph for a total of 60 minutes. It felt good and I am sure I am going to sleep really good tonight. I lost a pound!!! Yay!!!
Tomorrow, the plan is to do crossfit for about 45 minutes and I will teach salsa lessons in the evening. I am doing the same on Saturday and on Sunday I will begin my new 6 split workout.
I know eventually I will need a day off…

I want to try cross body for a change. On Fridays, I will try it for 4 rounds, 1/2 mile run, 50 hyperextensions, 25 push ups, 25 sit ups. I believe this will help me loose more fat. I am quite muscular since I havent stopped lifting ever, but I have a LOT of fat on me. Hopefully I will start seeing results soon.

My roommate wants to loose 25 lbs. I want to loose 20. Today after lunch we decided to be "nutrition buddies". So, we are going to watch what each other eats and help each other. I hope this really helps both of us. I think it will. She will be in iraq 10 more months and I have 11, so plenty of time to loose weight.

I don’t think the scales are good in Iraq. It seems we have about 6 of them at the gym but they are all off…so I was getting quite frustrated with myself. However, this morning I noticed my belly getting flatter! Maybe I am just loosing water but whatever it is, it sure is making me happy. I am finally seing results that keep me motivated!
I usually take Saturday off since we have salsa dancing and I usually just go dancing, but I am going to have a different workout–push ups, sit ups, and an hour of aerobic. Yes, I am hardcore, and hooked…I will look HOT by April–bikini time.
