Hey…best wishes to you. My ex-boyfriend developed crohns in college. We were both on track scholarships, but I watched him deteriorate to nearly nothing while he dealt with the disease. They were finally able to control it and he not only became an All-American in college, but he went on to compete at both the World Championships & Olympic Games for Canada. He said after the pain he went thru with Crohn’s, workouts & training were "easy as pie".
Stay strong & stay positive!

Best wishes to you! Sorry to hear about the Crohn’s. I suffer from IBS at times and take acidophilus (sp?) every day and it really helps as well as aiming to drink a gallon of water a day. Again, best wishes and keep me posted. Add me to your myspace okay? I’ll send you a request.

My mom has chron’s too. I know it’s a bummer. All you can do is continue to work through it. Even if it sucks to deal with it, it’s better than what will become of you if you don’t take care of yourself.
Proud of your decision to fight to stay healthy!

With crohn’s you’re not supposed to eat alot of fiber. My lil bro has it, but he can’t put weight on. You want to eat things that won’t rush right through you, so limit the fiber. I’ll have to look it up again, but I believe you should be taking selenium and calcium which should help alot. don’t go to the medical doctor! They just want your money. Think positive and don’t stress, that won’t help you beat this.

I will always be here to ENCOURAGE you. You can count on that.
