Skipped back and bi’s today and tried to rest up as much as I could for my B-Ball game at 5:30. Still pretty sore in the legs when it came time for the game but no cramping which was good. Now I will pick up my back and bi’s in the morning since I don’t have a game until 8:00 tomorrow night.

Noticed all day today that I felt a bit dehydrated. Played some pick up ball for about 2 hours before I had a game 3 hrs later. Normally not a big deal but I knew I was in trouble on my first shot in the game when both my calves tried to cramp up. Started drinking even more water and gatorade to try and fight through but end the end it got the best of me. Lesson learned. Need to ensure that I am getting enough water during the day. (normally not an issue, just was a little off today, i think) Hopefully I will feel ok for my back and bi day tomorrow but might take an extra day off if not recovered.

Nothing like sleeping in to help with recovery. Sunday was nice because I was able to work out with my wife. Decide to hit the chest and tri’s while she went and did her cardio.
4 sets of incline barbell bench press
4 sets of pec flys
4 sets DB flat bench press
4 superset of tricep v-bar pressdown and overhead tri extensions
Finished out with 4 sets cable x-overs
Then helped my wife out with her form on lunges and showed her how to perform preachers curls.
Monday was just 2 hours of pick up basketball at full speed. Great mix up my cardio than just run on the treadmill or ride the bike, etc.

I have found that the hardest days of the week are Wednesday and Saturday. Why? These are my rest days. I have to force myself not to go to the gym. I hate rest days but I know they are so vital in my training. Maybe I will go ride my bike around town. Nobody will know. Might have to go out in disguise so nobody recognizes me. (I am pretty bored lol) Anyways keep charging hard and push towards your goals whatever they may be. (Is it Sunday yet?)
