Food Food Food - movies Movies MOOOOVIES!
Yesterday we filmed the first part of the little documentary project that mongrel studios is doing on me. Why me? Well, they’re a cool group of people that I met when I auditioned for a part in their other movie called "The Roomies"… long story short, they decided it would be good to do a little documentary piece on me. We talked about the project for quite some time and the focus of it will be on my training from YESTERDAY up until Nationals this year in Florida. The crew is going to follow me around for these next few months and try to give the viewers the best possible view of what it’s like to train for a figure competition… diet, and other stuff associated with it.
It’s going to be a long process I’m sure. We will be posting bits and pieces of it on you tube as we get them edited. I hope to teach people a few things that can help with weight loss and contest prep. There’s also going to be plenty of laughs in it. I had no idea they were filming… I just thought they were checking lights.. but they caught me saying "Huge Vagina"… and I fear it will be on the gag reel.. so I beat it to it.. yes.. I said it HERE first! Oy.. so be prepared.. cover your ears.. whatever.. either way it’s going to be a good time!
If anyone is in Portland, Oregon and wants in on this little project come train with me at this gym in the Pearl District and we’ll catch you on film! Then you can be like.. yes back in my day, I was in a movie about bodybuilding.. and show them the clip that you will be forever remembered in.
During filming yesterday we were doing a little interview scene in my living room… (and yes.. it is full of leather bound books but does not smell of rich mahogany) … then we hear this screaming outside like someone is killing a little kid. So I go outside to see whats going on and it’s my sisters future nephew and niece laughing. Apparently my neighbors (my sister and her roomies) were making them laugh.. that little kid laugh where you don’t know if they’re in excruciating pain or having tons of fun. I had to ask them to please be quiet because we could hear it in my house even with the windows and doors closed. I promised them we wouldn’t take too long.
So.. they quieted down. A few minutes later I hear tap tap….. tap tap tap…… TAP TAP TAP TAP!!!!! My sister and her roommate were being sneaky and crept up to my kitchen window. I pulled up the shades and there she was! Her face pressed against the glass… It would have been creepy if I didn’t know that my sister was known for pulling these kind of pranks. They "just wanted to see what we were up to" so .. I shut the blinds again and resumed the interview. If it wasn’t an HD cam we could have carried it to the window and got this amazing look on film… but it is a huge camera attached to an industrial strength tri-pod.
Ok, I’ve rambled on too much.. but yesterday was fun and today is going to be even more fun! It’s ROCK BAND KARAOKE!!! I’m ready to get my BAM BAM on!
Tiff
Hey.. here’s a little note for you today… "stay curious and you’ll always learn"!

What state show are you doing? The 2009 new rules are you have to qualify each year so everyone at Nationals has to take first or second at a state level show that year first. I think they did this to weed out the riff-raff showing up at the National level.
