Today (saturday) was "semigreat". Great in the sense that I managed to do 60 minutes of intense spinning before my sister, her bf, my dad and I went to Norway to visit my grandma. But "semigreat" because family gatherings includes lots of food and pressure to eat…
Why is that? I drives me mad
Glad I did the spinning before the trip at least!
549 days to get it fixed so I’m not worried…. yet!

Today (friday) was an awesome day at practice. Biked there to get there a little ealier just so I could do some time on the rowing machine and elleptical before pilates class. Thing is; I want to meet halfway sweaty to pilates class as I think it makes me burn more than just meeting up cold!
Pilates class was great also - we worked with fitnessballs and did a lot of belly-aching-stuff
After the class I did three leg excersises;
- leg extensions
- leg press
- lying leg curls
Leg press is my absolute favorite ever! Did too many sets (5), each time repeating it with 15 movements. I felt really strong today also…
Did all sets at aprox 290 pounds. (at least that’s stronger than usual for me - or maybe progress?)
A problem that I feel I have is that I never feel tired, so it’s difficult for me to stop. It’s that way with sleep as well; I rarely sleep for more than 3 hours every night. I never feel that I lack energy, but it sure is boring! It’s been that way since about 12-13 years ago, so I’m used to it though!

Maybe it’s because of the last weeks events combined with the ice cold weather, but motivation today was a struggle. I did 40 minutes of spinning in the morning, though.
Been eating right; healthy fruit salad for breakfast, my favorite wok for dinner, been drinking lots of green tea, 2 shakes and all natural yoghurt with walnuts for a evening snack. Must say that although motivation was pretty low today - I’m really proud of myself for not running down to the cornerstore getting my favorite candy! (as I’ve tended to do that earlier!)
Before;

After;

Anyway; looking forward to tomorrow - leg day! A grueling leg workout is in my opinion the best way to celebrate the upcoming weekend
Later!

Morning workout: 60 min pilates class.
Yesterday was truly awful, today was a little better! Pilates class was awesome; gave the abs a tough workout and I really feel that the midsection is starting to get stronger. Clap applause for me!
Some time ago I applied to do the fall semester 2008 in the Netherlands and today I got the news that I was accepted. I’m very pleased with that because it’ll give me a chance to take courses that I will not be able to take if staying in here. So that will be exiting!
My sister and I met up in the evening to celebrate with sushi, soaps and smiles.
Stay healthy and strong everyone!

Morning workout: 60mins of spinning.
Two weeks ago my best friend’s mom died of cancer and today was her funeral. What’s even worse is that my friend has lost her dad and grandpa also in the last year and it feels like it’s just too much to cope with. I’ve known the family since I was 7.
Some hours before her mother died, my friend tried to call me. But I was too busy arguing with my now ex too answer. I will never forgive myself for that and I’m truly sorry about it.
Lots of thoughts and sadness today.

Change in the body can happen slow or fast, but there’s no doubt a lot can happen in 554 days. I turn 30 September 9th in 2009 and by then I’m gonna look good!
That’s my main goal!
