Toady was my first day back to the Gym since my little mishap and the fact that the Golds Gym that I belong relocated and just opened today 5 full days to heal after a long 2 weeks at work and some pretty good workouts while I was there.
Today was chest so after scouting out the new surroundings I made my way to the DB rack and did Incline db’s. I warmed up doing 40’s for 15 then 50’s for 10. There, warm up done. Grabbed the 80’s for 10×3 then 100’s for 6×2. To the BB for flat bench 225 4×8 then finished off with flat db flys till sore. Finished up my session with cardio on the treadmill for 50mins, 30 min walk 20 min really lite jog not to over do it on my ankle.

Figured I would shake things up a bit and do a GVT on Squats 10×10. Well on the 8th set my mind kind of left me and I came up to far forward. I tried to correct and WHAM I ended up pulling both tendents in my ankles, what really sucks is I did it at work and I have to do alot of walking up and down stairs. I think I will start too change my routine when I am at home so I am better able to lick my wounds and rest better.

What is wrong with the younger Generation now days? Why would anybody at 17-19 years old consider cutting? As the old saying goes, If I knew then what I know now I would be lifting like a raped ape so much more growth potential.
Actually I have been makeing some pretty good progress on loseing BF% weight isn’t going anywhere though. Still lifting relatively heavy for working sets. Deads are 315 for 4x 8 Squats are 315 3x 8-10 everything else is fitting in nice. Will post pic updates soon.

I have come to the conclusion that my deads are really screwed up, I spent alot of times of working myself up to my 1 rep max, really no structure. I went back too 275Lbs and did 4 sets 8reps 30 sec. break. The first time I was sucking wind but by the 4th time around or 4th week it was pretty easy so I have logged my next Dead day at 300lbs and see how it goes.
Did a horribly hard trap day yesterday, I started with incline D.B shrug with 80’s 4X8
Then I did the rack, start with the 100’s crank out 15 reps racked them and dropped too 90lbs and so on till I get to the 50’s Take a 2 min. break and do it again then again. So they were sore when I had too do Good Mornings, HOLY CRAP ,once that bar started too dig in for traction I was in survival mode, it was like the bar knew just where to rest. lol

The reality was I platued awhile ago and didn’t pay attention. So back too basics.
Squats:4x 6-8 275lbs will increase reps 8-10 when I can complete this I will up the weight too 300lbs and back too 6-8 reps.
Leg Press 4x 6-8 360lbs
1 leg Ham curl 4x 8-10 55lbs
Romainian deads 4x 6-8 225lbs
Leg extensions 4x 10-12 45lbs. good for finishing
calves I really have to pound hard because of my job other wise they… well you know.
I use a leg press machine add 2 plates a side and rep out 2 sets.

I stick too the basics, foundation work is a must and timing is everything.
