So it was just announced today that my Nov 15th fight will be a rematch against the guy I lost to on Oct/25/09. I’m currently still battling a stomach bug (and to be honest it might have started prior to my last fight) but I should be back in full swing starting Monday.
I had three training sessions this week and all but one were cut short due to me not being able to continue (feeling sick). Today was our first full session that was not cut short however I was slower and the cardio has come down a little this past week.
All in all, I know my mistakes, I know that in my weakest moment he was unable to knock me down or knock me out. Thus we strive to achieve victory come Nov.15.2009, where I shall seek my “Redemption”.

So this past Sunday I had the chance to step into the ring with a very well rounded MMA fighter from a Club in Toronto.
We worked very hard to get ready for this fight. Cardio was our main goal as well as diet to ensure making the correct weight.
At 3pm Sunday afternoon we had our weigh-ins and both of us tipped the scales at an even 170lbs.
We were the 6th fight on the 11 card show and when it was our turn…. man was it ever a good throw down.
We went the distance both landing several heavy shots (let me tell you this kid had hands of stone!!!) and when all the dust settled the judges awarded him the victory.
I thought I would be a lot more disappointed, but I gave it all I had that day, I didn’t execute on several things I should have so I now know what to work on going forwards.
I had a great time, an awesome war in the ring, and we are on pace for our next fight on Nov/15/2009.

So it’s been a very long time since I have written one of these. I got totally off track in my fighting career pursuit due to my mother having an illness. Mom is back on the mend and I have been on a terror ever since!
Although I’d like to say I just got right back into the swing of things I didn’t. I had abandoned my program, lost all interest in working out, and fighting period.
This is a shout out to Chanse Trenholm (Envied Body) www.enviedbodiesfitness.ca who not only got me up from being down and out, but has taken my routine to an entirely new level.
I am a very lean 171lbs (still cutting down to 168lbs). I love how I look, feel, and fight at this weight.
My program is more challenging than ever before, my cardio has far surpassed my expectations, and I am ready for my debut on Oct/25/2009.
Thank you Chanse for all your help and hard work in these last few months, I look forward to continue this until we reach the top!

So it’s been awhile since i’ve written one of these.. the reason for it is simple.. I’ve been in my club training like a madman!!!!!
We lost the sanctioning for our April 11, 2009 Card but all my training and cutting has not gone to waste. We have since been signed to do an even bigger event (sanctioning already approved) at the Twin Dragon Show on June 11/09 (approx 10 weeks away)
I’ve started my training camp, it’s not very fun, but neither is loosing infront off 500+ ppl.
I will try my best to update this blog as I finish each week of training, might throw in some photos here and there when time permits.
Event info to come…

After thinking long and hard about future goals, i’ve decided that I want to enter the relm of competitive fighting. My older bro many years ago used to kickbox competitively in Ontario and I am thinking i’d like to give it a whirl.
So for now, the bulk is done and complete at 203lbs, time to shred into fighting form.
