i’ve been back in the game now for about three weeks. it feels great. i didn’t want to post something sooner cause something usually happens to halt my progress, so far so good. been doing light weight with high reps (around 15). next week i’m start heavy lifting for a couple of weeks then go back to light lifting to get my body used to the switch. been a long time since i’ve been able to lift, more than 6 months so the weights i use are VERY light and is embarrasing so i’m not posting my workouts yet. hope i can keep going and gain the weight i lost back pretty soon.

I put up my heavy bag a couple days ago and messed with it for about a half an hour. i had written down what different things to do punching and kicking wise 10x each. i couldn’t finish the kicking part, i was only able to do about half of it i was so worn out. i hadn’t messed with a heavy bag in over three years. anyways, my body is so freakin sore from it. muscles are sore that i didn’t even know i was using while doing it. it’s hard to move or even walk up and down stairs cause my legs hurt. but it lets me know i was doing something and i’m thankful for that. otherwise i would think was doing something wrong.

I couldn’t do my workout yesterday do to my knee hurting. It had been bugging me for about three days but I could walk fine on it and whatever. But then on Friday when I got out of bed I could hardly walk. When I would sit in my vehicle in between jobs then get back out it hurt real bad again to walk. No matter what I did, I couldn’t bend my knee. It was really annoying. The worst thing is that it was leg day (how convenient). Not only that, at one of my jobs I turned around and accidentally kicked the corner of a wall with my other leg and stubbed the last two toes so that made it hard to walk on that foot for a while. Friday was just not my day this week. But it’s feeling better today, still hurts a little so I’m not going to force it. Don’t want to make it worse than it already is.

Okay, i worked out yesterday and did chest, bi’s and abs. Not too bad of a combo to do. The bad feeling was the ridiculous amount of weight i had to use since I’m just getting back to working out after a year. It made me feel so horrible. I had to start at the very bottom again. The weight for my chest was the worst, granted I was doing sets of 20 but still. I only did 65-75 lbs. for incline bb bench. My incline was never much but this chest workout was just pathetic. My biceps workout was a little better ’cause I use my arms a lot more than my chest on a daily basis. I’m just hoping after a couple more crappy chest workouts I’ll be able to start using heavier weight.
