GET OUT of the gym

Why must people socialize so much at the gym. Its one thing to say something to someone, but to carry on a conversation. That’s just rude. And Monday’s it really bothers me the most. Because most people don’t follow a plan, they just pig or whatever on the weekends and crowd the gym on Mondays thinking they can just work off the calories or whatever. I usually go late at night, but this week I’m helping someone out that has a bedtime (lol) so I have to go earlier. I spot an open bench, so I put my towel down to reserve the space and go get my weight. A guy calls over to me (doesn’t come over) and says he’s still working there, turns around and continues a conversation with another person. But I just let him have it. The bench I mean. It would have done me no good to bother wasting my time arguing with him. I had muscle stimulation to get to. I just hope some people take into consideration, that some people go to the gym for the "main" purpose of using it.

Where’s the motivation???

So since I left the Army, the motivation to hit the gym has been twice as hard. I mean, of course I still go, but where are all the people who can’t wait to get in the gym. Everybody seems too busy myspacing and facebooking out here. I’ve been out for almost a year now, and I thought that would be plenty of time to adjust, but perhaps I have to look outside of my circle of friends. Its hard hittin’ the steel by yourself. Its hard to find the right person to motivate you. I suppose the only upside is that when you reep(did i spell that right, lol) the benefits, you know that its all you.
