It’s On
Tuesday, September 22nd, 2009My surgery is scheduled fro November 4th. Unfortunately i am going to be put to sleep. At first i was terrified but I am feeling more and more confident as the days go on. I found a lump(?) in my side a couple of months ago so I am going to have it removed as well as some loose skin from abs. I am also going to have my abs tightened.
I started seeing a therapist after the birth of my younger son a few years ago because I thought I had postpartum depression (turns out I was just exhausted). I think everyone deserves a therapist like mine. I always feel more self-assured when I see her
. At my appointment yesterday we discussed things that calm me. She is going to make me a "guided visualization" CD and focus on the positive outcome of my surgery, healing, and ways to calm myself.
I am excited to see my results and can’t wait to feel confident in and out of clothes. I will finally be able to see what my lifting and cardio have produced (other than loose skin).
Anybody have any advice about surgery? If so, I’d love to hear it.
