I love love love this website. I have met such cool people and it’s nice to know that their are others who are just as into themselves as I am (he!he!) Everyday I search through people’s profiles to find people who can relate to me and I always find someone. Even when I am a smartass you guys are still nice to me. Just wanted to thank ya’ll (southernese for you all) for being soooo motivating.

Practically everyone I have seen on bodyspace uses a supplement to boost their (damn it, there’s another word not following i before e except after c rule) energy. I would LOVE to take one but the few times I did I just felt ridiculously uncomfortable. It’s not worth my body to lose my mind so I opt to avoid them.
Does anyone other than myself not use them? If so, then how do you do with cardio?
I have started doing cardio this week because of the "UNWRAP YOUR ABS FOR XMAS" challenge. Cardio SUCKS. The challenge states that i must do it 3x per week which is not too bad. I split it up today and did 20 minutes before lunch and 20 minutes before dinner. I have heard that splitting it up is better and it’s harder for me to do 30 minutes in the am after weight training.
We just put an elliptical in our home gym last night. This rocks because my kids will actually keep me company while I work out. I plan on doing weights 4 days a week from 6-7 am. Then do 20 minutes cardio sometime in the morning and 20 more in the afternoon before I make dinner. We’ll see how that goes.
I did post some pics tonight and will be taking some more in a couple of weeks. They are not that flattering to me. My jeans are looser in the thigh this week and my bicep looks more cut. Can’t wait to see how much my body will change by Christmas. Just don’t want to look like a hohoho (he!he!he!).
Here’s today’s clean eats
meal 1… 4 egg whites, scoop whey pump, 1/2 c oats
meal 2… 1/2 c cottage cheese, apple, 1/4 oz walnuts
meal 3… banana, 1 T pb
meal 4… 4 oz ground turkey breast, 1 egg white, 1/2 c oats
meal 5… ON whey, 1 c almond milk
meal 6… 1 cup beef stew( just beef, little onion, little tomato, spices), 1/2 c pumpkin soup (just pumpkin, little onion, little oil, vegetable broth)

Just read about a challenge on bb.com to unwrap my abs for Christmas. I will be following a plan launched by Atray87 and others. The plan goes a little something like this-
Eat clean every day (with the exception of 2 meals) form now until Xmas
Weights a least 3 times a week
Cardio at least 3 times a week (min 30 minutes)
Total workouts are 6
May workout twice in one day
Should post 4 full body pics every 2 weeks
If you **** up you must tell on yourself
Must post at least 2x a week
All this sounds pretty good to me since I have never gone more than 4 weeks without a cheat meal!
Here’s today’s clean eats
meal 1… optimum whey
meal 2… 4 egg whites, scoop whey pump, 1/2 c oats
meal 3… can o’ tuna, slice Ezekiel bread, nectarine
meal 4… 4 oz ground turkey breast, 1/2 c kidney beans, 1/2 c tomato sauce
meal 5… muscle tech bar
meal 6… 4 oz turkey tenderloin, 1 t oil, onion/zucchini/summer squash, 1/2 sweet potato, 1/2 oz almonds
Workout went like this-
5 minute warmup
superset #1 15 minutes no rest
5 min cardio
superset #2 15 min no rest
5 min cardio
superset #3 15 min no rest
Will bump up cardio to 30 minutes at least 3x a week so I fit in.

Here’s a question-
Remember the rule "i before e except after c"? Well that, my friends, is bullshit. I trIEd to spell the word "wIErd" using this rule on somebody’s bodyspace and it said I f’ed the word up. WTF? I’m following the rules.
New rule- I before e except after c and in the word "wEIrd". Now that’s just wEIrd.
I know this blog is wEIrd. Enough.
Here’s day 8 of the clean eats
meal 1… scoop whey pump, 1 t pb
meal 2… 4 egg whites, 1 egg, 1/3 c oats, 1 c mixed berries
meal 3… apple, 2 t pb, 1 scoop whey pump
meal 4…(I had planned on cooking but a plumber was in my kitchen fixing my stank sink) Muscle Tech protein bar
meal 5… 1/2 oz almonds
meal 6… 6 oz ground turkey, sweet potato

Since 2004 I have not eaten meat. A few months ago I decided to start eating chicken just to have more protein options. Then, a little while later it was turkey (but only turkey breast). Two weeks ago I ate beef while on vacation. While we were there my husband also ate it EVERY day. My kids ate it every day. My poor kids and husband apparently LOVE it but haven’t eaten it because of me. Now, technically, their leader (a name I have given to my husband when he shows my boys something stupid) could have cooked it for himself and them all these years. Somehow, though, he got a bone in his hand or some shit that has prevented him from cooking (basically)our entire married life.
Steak is now my older son’s favorite food. We had it tonight for dinner. My younger son (he will be two in December) kept telling me "Teak" and "Weet toe" while pointing at MY steak sweet potato after he had eaten all of his. Then, my older son decided he wanted to eat MY steak after he had finished his. Now normally I would have stabbed them both (jk) but I was feeling maternal and actually shared with each of them!
Lesson learned- my boys and their leader like red meat. Also my husband’s hands really can work because he has been cooking the steak! It’s a damn miracle I tell ya!
FYI I had to change my greeting on my voice mail today and I said that I was busy accepting the "Mother of the Year" award and would have to call you back.
Here’s another day of clean eating
meal 1… 5 egg whites, 1/3 c oats, 1 peach
meal 2… Muscle Tech bar
meal 3… 4 oz ground turkey breast, 1/4 c oats, egg white, 1 1/2 c mixed green beans, snow peas, and water chestnuts
meal 4… 1 1/2 scoop whey pump, 2 t pb
meal 5… 3.5 oz sirloin (minus however many oz those kids ate), 2 bites sweet potato, zucchini/onions/squash
meal 6… 2 t pb

My neighborhood had a fall festival tonight complete with a chili cook-off and dessert bake-off and I didn’t eat anything except for a little white chicken chili. Just a few short weeks ago I would have competed in my own dessert-eating contest and won but I am eating clean. I wasn’t even tempted which was even more strange.
One of the women there did ask why i wasn’t really eating. I tried to explain how I am eating now. I got a WTF look to which I said, "Oh, I just don’t want to be a fat bitch like you." (alright I didn’t say it just thought it).
Here’s today of clean eating
meal 1… 4 egg whites, 1 scoop whey pump, 1/2 c oats
meal 2… protein bar
meal 3… 5 oz ground turkey breast, 1/4 c oats, egg white, 1 1/2 c green beans
meal 4… 1/2 c white chicken chili

I thought about long johns today….you know the long sleeved top and matching bottoms people wear in the winter under their real clothes that are skin tight. How funny looking are these on everyone?
One of my friends is about 6′5" and he’s a hunter (oh yeah, he weighs like 120). I was lucky enough to see this fella in his lj’s. It was one of the most amusing things I have ever seen. Not only did they show his "manly physique" but they would probably fit a midget…..WAYYYYYY TOO SMALL.
Both of my kids wear something similar to these lovely outfits to bed. They are adorable on them. Not so much on adults.
Anyway I was thinking that long johns would be the perfect Halloween outfit….cheap….available…..just damn funny looking. No, they are not exactly a costume but I guarantee if you wore them to a party you’d be the most talked about person there, especially if you wore them with heels. LONG JOHNS AND PUMPS (there’s some great sex appeal…who wouldn’t get turned on by the site of somebody in that ensemble?)
If you are nervous about giving a speech, the norm is to picture people naked to calm you down. I say picture the audience in the johns.
In fact, ladies and gents forget about the bodyspace pics with little or no clothes. Let’s see you in this two piece. Perhaps I will take my progress pics in them (now that i think about I’ve never really seen a freaky hot buff body in them). Anyone want to enter in the Mr/Ms Long Johns?
Alright enough about sexy clothes and on to my clean eats.
meal 1… 1 scoop whey pump, 1 c unsweetened almond milk
meal 2… 5 egg whites, 1/3 c oats, 1 c mixed berries
meal 3… apple, 2 t pb
meal 4… 5 oz grilled chix breast, 4 oz sweet potato, summer squash
meal 5… 1/3 c oats, 1 1/2 scoops whey pump, 1 T pb
meal 6… 3 oz salmon, 1 egg white, 1 slice Ezekiel bread, 10 grape tomatoes, 2 c lettuce, green pepper, 1 t sesame seeds

One of my biggest pet peeves is when I smile at someone and he/she/shim does not smile back. I am not by any means the friendliest person on earth and I guess that is why I think it should be done by both parties. If I can do then EVERYBODY is capable of doing it too. There is one older man there who I smiled at a few times as he walked around the track. Finally, he did it back when I was closer to him. That’s when I realized he hadn’t done it before because he could NOT see me due to poor vision. HE is forgiven. The elderly and the blind do not apply to MY golden rule of smiling.
There are two girls that I have TRIED to be ****ing friendly with by smiling and I get nothing. Neither one of these chicks is a beauty queen and they only have decent bodies (neither has a body that I want). I just can’t figure out why these bitches don’t smile back. I have decided that they can eat my shit.
So if you are a person that does not smile when smiled at then you, too, will be cursed.
Here’s day 4 (full of fruit and pb but, hey, it is still clean)
meal 1…1 scoop whey pump, 1 t pb
meal 2… 4 egg whites, 1 whole egg, 1/3 c oats, 1 c mixed berries
meal 3… apple, 1/2 banana, 1 1/2 T pb
meal 4… 1 bite ofchix (I had grilled some last night and I just do not like reheated protein), 5 egg whites, 1 whole egg, 1/2 c oats, 1/2 c mixed berries
meal 5… 4 oz ground turkey, 1 1/2 c green beans, 2 oz sweet potato, bite o’ watermelon

Here’s a story about my 5 year old son.
He was potty trained years ago to "read" while he sat on the throne. He only looks at the pictures and imagines himself doing things in the books. When he is NOT on the potty and starts reading he almost instantly has to shit (his teacher is in for a real treat when he really learns to read). Then he’ll race to the bathroom. Shitting takes forever. I have known people before that took 30 minutes or so in there but my son has literally sat on the pot for over two hours. Maybe he thinks shitting will some day be an olympic sport. He potties within the first 2 minutes or so and reads the rest of the time.
Anyway today he had been in the bathroom for a little while (with the door open). I walked by and saw him sitting down in the toilet. His middle back was pressed against the seat and his little legs were hanging there. I asked him if he was stuck. He told me he just liked sitting that way. It’s his new recliner.
New topic
It’s amazing how much influence we have on others’ lives. My husband is the king of finance. I told him the other day that I was going to make a spreadsheet to keep up with my foods. It was like foreplay to him. I never would have thought of using a spreadsheet for calories, protein, fat, carbs, and fiber but because my husband finds them so handy I decided to.
I just started using it today and it is very handy. I eat the foods on the list. On "off" days I only eat about 1200 calories. On workout days I eat around 1500. If I am not losing then I’ll switch it up.
Day 3 of 30 of clean eating
meal 1… 1 c unsweetened almond milk, 1.5 scoops whey pump, 1 c mixed berries
meal 2… turkey meatballs (5 oz meat, 1/4 c oats, egg white), 1 c green beans
meal 3… apple, 1 T pb
meal 4… 2 egg whites, scoop whey pump, 1/4 c oats
meal 5… 6 oz chicken, squash, zucchini, broccoli, green pepper, little onion and carrots

If you have not read her blogs then you should read ShanBL’s soon. They are consistently funny. Last month she ate 30 days clean with no cheats. She started another 30 days but a wiener and some other shit got in her way, uh, mouth. She restarted the 2nd round of 30 days yesterday. Since I have eaten clean yesterday and today I am going to join her.
I have also changed my lifting routine. I found one on bb.com. It was a contest runner-up. I will give its author credit one day. I am lifting 5 days a week. There are 3 supersets which work 2 body parts. EACH superset is done for 15 minutes. The goal is to lift 50 reps within the 15 minutes. If you can do 60 then you need to up your weights. It looks like this-
superset #1 for 15 minutes straight
rest 5 minutes ( I walk)
superset #2 for 15 minutes straight
rest for 5 (walk)
superset #3 for 15
Didn’t write down yesterday’s food but it was all good. Here’s today
meal 1…4 egg whites, 1/2 c oats, 1 c blackberries
meal 2…3/4 c cottage cheese, apple
meal 3…ground turkey breast, 1/2 c oats, egg whites (mixed this shit together and rolled it into balls to make meatballs), summer squash, onion
meal 4…whey protein shake, 10 almonds
meal 5…20 almonds
