I started a new job last week and I can not find the energy to do my workout or even work on my class work once I get home from work. I am so tired……The last workout that I got in was early this week. I have other activities to keep me in shape
LOL but I just don’t seem to have any energy once I get home from work…How do you women manage a home, full-time job, and children……I have done it for a few years noe but it seems that my work is draining me. Don’t get me wrong I enjoy my work and I know it is providing professional growth for me I just can’t find a balance…..It may be that this is still fairly new so my body is still trying to adjust ( I hope) or I need to slow down a little bit.

I just started a new job and everyone that I working around seems to like unhealthy foods. I need to get a lunch menu that is healthy and energizing…..ANY SUGGESTIONS??? My first day I had one of those nasty burritos out of the vending machine not much choices and I was starving. Today however, I took a lunch that was suitable. The bad thing is I go into the break room and they have different food vendors all week that have hot meals that smell great but I know I’ll start packing on pounds in no time……another thing is there is a lot of candy around there…….any good snack ideas?? I have apples and almonds right now need something to hold me over in between meals and hopefully I won’t be tempted by all the sweets! THANKS!! : )

Ok so finally got the courage to hit legs the other day and boy did I feel it yesterday. Still a little sore today but I am going to do legs again tonight. I felt great though! At least I know I am working those muscles. My hardest thing right now is to keep my diet clean. It is so easy just to get off track and grab whatever is around to eat. I hate to cook so eating clean can be hard. Once I start stepping up the diet, hopefully get rid of the fat pouch on my lower stomach!

I worked my legs today and they are sore already!!! But if you look at my pics there is no doubt that I need to work them!! I am more motivated today. I went out and bought me a new scale and weighed myself and got my body fat down so that was motivating!! I said hell yeah time to hit it hard!! Another thing that is going to help me is one of my best friends in Vegas is going to get on bodyspace with me. We are both competitive so we’ll see the results I get from that. Woo…..been somewhat discouraged lately but glad when I see changes even if they are small : )

I have been saying I am going to quit smoking and finally made the attempt. I am on day 6 without a smoke ! : ) I am hoping this is the end of that nasty habit. Worst thing so far is I have had headaches the last few days…not extremely bad. Last night was my first time having a drink without a smoke. Man I wanted one bad..but got through the night without one. My main concern right now is not packing on pounds while trying to lose this habit! So I guess I am going to have to use exercise as an outlet when I get those cravings….WISH ME LUCK!! Hopefully, I can keep the extra pounds off and don’t pick up eating as a substitute for cigarettes…

I have been working out but it seems that my lower abs aren’t seeing any progress……EEUUHH!! Dang it! Actually if anything my lower abs look thicker. YUCK! This is driving me crazy….don’t get me wrong I have seen some progress, but now it feels like I am stuck……COME ON ABS!! I know there is a six pack under there somewhere! If you look at my progress pics I posted today you can see what I am talking about…..It’s like a fat donut around my belly button! How do I get rid of it?? HELP!

Ok so I know that I need to start hitting my legs hard since I have little chicken legs but can’t seem to get motivated to do it. Arms and core I can deal with being sore but my legs……ouch. I really want to build my calves and tone my thighs……I guess no pain no gain, right?? Ok so I’ll hit legs today and hope I can walk tomorrow!!

So this week I finally got back on track with my workouts! I feel great….my body is still trying to get use to it so I am a little sore but damn feeling good! I am excited that I have my motivation back! Can’t wait to see the results just need to stay motivated. The one thing I really need to start building are my legs. I have chicken legs. Anyone have great leg workouts they want to share?? I am seeing the tone come back in my arms : ) so that feels good…

Well like I previously said I was slacking in my workouts and diet. Finally got back on track tues and I am still sore today! But I will be hitting my workout just as hard today. My core was getting weak. I could tell a difference the strength was disappearing……and I felt like crap. Even though I am sore I feel good because I know I am building my strength back! We’ll see how I feel tomorrow….

THe last few weeks I have been horrible in taking care of my body. So after looking at my progress pics and seeing the loss of muscle I decided I better get with the program. I have also been feeling sluggish so decided I want to feel like I did when I was hitting my workouts everyday! Today I hit it hard and feel great! I will be sore tomorrow but it will be worth it. My pants started to fit tighter and I am not having that…….No more muffin top for me!
