squats
lunges
stiff-legged deadlifts

Lift heavy once you get your form down. Don't worry about bulking up. It won't happen.

Squats. The single best overall exercise there is (but exhausting!).

Plus, leg press, leg extensions, leg curls &amp; calf raises.

I take chromium piclinate, green tea extract, fish oil, and CLA - every morning around 10 am. It seems to work for me, I've always wondered about the FB products, I don't drink caffiene so some of those products really concern me. You may want to go the supplement route.
Let us know. clc.

I would say be consistent with everything - do you eat a big breakfast, prepare clean foods in advance??? all that sort of stuff?

I take casien every nite, the body does a lot of repairs and cranks that metabolism out. What about alcohol - that's supposed to slow down your meatbolism for 2 days after!!!!

I always search these topics on bodyspace, there usually is a ton of info, I have some of them on my bs.

Crystal, I've never had to quit smoking, but I can image just how difficult it could be. My two cents is for you to visualize being successful at quiting.

As you fall asleep run different "success" scenarios in your head. The body follows the brain, the brain has got to want it first. Please blog and let us know how it's going. Regards, clc.

The scale doesn't tell the whole story as you found out....ignore it and go by your clothing and measurements! It frustrated me to no end when I stepped on the scale....happy to report that even though I have not lost a lot of weight but have lost two pant sizes!! Best of luck to you!
