I am definitely going to try changing what specifically I eat.

I've been supplementing with Whey protein, Creatine, L-Glutamine while "eating everything imaginable", but I haven't eaten much meat.

So, for the next few months I'm going to try a modified work out routine (less) and eating more meat. And, I'm going to try eating small amounts very frequently, and always with lots of protein.

Eventually, something I try has to work, right? :-)

Muscle needs fuel, if you don't feed it then it wont grow. Try eating the correct foods and you will gain lean mass.

Do exercises using your own body weight. You can alway do squats, lunges, dips, push ups and so on. If you go to the articles section of bodybuiding.com and look up exercises you can find exercises using your own weight as resistance. Congrats on reaching your initial goal and good luck on your next.

Thanks for the support!

I know you are right. Of course you are right. But, I am rapidly approaching the end date for this part of my "transformation", and I'd love to finish off with a bang, rather than a wimper.

I have three days left, at which point I jump on a plane to somewhere without a scale or weights. I can do without the scale, but the weights... that's a problem. But, I'll make do somehow.

Relax Richard. Look at the "big picture" and what you've lost over the past 18 months. That has been a remarkable achievement. Don't chase the 'scales' every couple or few days. Your body is still adjusting. Give it a chance to breath.

When we make reasonable and gradual demands on the body, it has no choice but to develop. It's pure keneisiology and time. You're doing great. My best to your continued success. later...jeff
