Week 6 + 7 and positive diet alterations
Good 2 weeks, did all the workouts to the proper intensity, didn't miss any cardio, and for the most part kept my diet up well. Still had the odd wholewheat pasta meal, or wholewheat bread (VERY rarely on the bread) but not too bad.
I found a cheap whey protein source that's actually of good quality, works out at 25p a scoop which is 23g of protein, so from now on I'm upping my protein per day from 160-190g to 200-250g, hopefully this makes a difference as I haven't seen much change lately! I rechecked my carbs, I am down from 300-400g a day to 200-250g a day now the carbs are reduced/dropped from meals. Energy mostly feels fine but I do have my tired days.
I also picked up some more BCAA's. Previously I only had the 7-8g from my Xtend serving, but now there's 5-10g extra per day from powdered BCAA.
5 Weeks left! Let's see how we turn out! It's 7:15AM and I'm off to speed walk the dog after a nice protein oat pancake. :D
