I think I’m finally over my winter cold. Today I went on a nice brisk walk with my walking buddy Scoobie a.k.a. Triborough Wrecking Ball, Pride of Astoria, Kid Danger…yeah okay so he’s a toy poodle but with a pit bull spirit. My husband swears up and down he’ll walk with me tomorrow. I told him fitness is good for the sex drive. Seems as if most men need some sexual reason to get in shape. Oh well we are all motivated by something!
I’m officially a gym rat now because I’m wearing my gym tee shirt. I got it free for having my fees automatically withdrawn so that’s nice. My splurge on vitamins is already bearing good fruit. I feel better and my energy level is up. My husband said it made him happy to see me bounding in the door with a GNC bag. I spent $87 there but got a few deals because it’s 20% week. Plus I try to support the local business as it’s the ONLY vitamin/healthfood store in my small town area.
Bought myself a new mp3 player. I had my heart set on an apple iphone but ended up with a Sansa view for $200 less and no monthly contract. Music is very motivational. Yesterday I bench pressed 40# and felt great. My orientation is 7-3 and I go to the gym after work. I look forward to my workouts even though sometimes I have to go home and take a quick nap. I am leaning more towards an instinctive type workout where I will set a minimum cardio goal of 20 minutes and lifting weights for 30 minutes. I try to be out of the gym in an hour and if I sit in the sauna, two hours.
Better to be a gym rat than a fat a$$. Besides I notice how my husband is getting even more obsessed with my rear end. I’m losing weight slowly and it all seems to be going to my behind *LOL* but in a good way.
